Situated on a spacious, 450-acre campus adorned with palm trees and sun-splashed greens, the IMG Leadbetter Golf Academy facilities are a state-of-the-art golfer’s paradise located within the confines of IMG Academies in Bradenton, Florida.
The IMG Leadbetter Golf Academy accommodates golfers of all abilities, ages, and levels of commitment. The world-renowned golfing facility offers year-round training programs. Full-time residency programs run from September through May and are specifically designed to allow players to reach a level of total development. Students interested in enrolling with the IMG Leadbetter Golf Academy are provided with housing on the IMGA campus and attend a private school with customized morning and afternoon curriculum. A balance of topnotch academic instruction and world-class golf training is created, and then complemented with performance training that includes mental conditioning, physical conditioning, nutrition assessment and even media training delivered by expert coaches in their respective fields.
The IMG Leadbtter Golf Academy also offers a tour prep program, designed to improve tournament performance and scoring, while creating an atmosphere centered on self-reliance, discipline and training for both the mind and body. Current LPGA up-and-comers Carolina Llano and Mika Miyazato are recent graduates of this program.
All IMG Leadbetter Golf Academy participants – junior, collegiate, adult and professional students – receive performance training that not only focuses on the mechanics of the golf swing, but prepares each individual to be successful in the areas of course management, tournament preparation and practice technique. The aim of the IMG Leadbetter Golf Academy is to produce golf athletes that have been armed with the tools necessary to excel technically, tactically, physically, and mentally in the competitive world of sports and life.
